Turns out my current
#foss calendar setup, consisting of
#NextCloud Calendar, DAVx5 and Fossify Calendar is not reliable enough. Multiple appointments have just gone missing after a while, seemingly random.
It shouldn't be too much too ask to have a FOSS calendar synched reliably between my phone and my laptop.
What's the real Google Calendar alternative? I'm more than willing to selfhost, but this is frustrating.
